Project details
The AHSN for North East and North Cumbria were seeking to present their work with the County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust to podiatrists across the country.
The aim of the project was to inform podiatrists that they can detect heart arrhythmia during consultations. Heart arrhythmia can mean undiagnosed Atrial Fibrillation – a condition that is often asymptomatic and if left untreated can cause a catastrophic stroke.
“Save a life, stop a stroke”
It was predicted that the interest from podiatrists would be very high, therefore E4H recommended a webinar which could accommodate a large audience. A speaker from County Durham and Darlington shared their success, experiences and skills on how to apply this knowledge in clinic. To support their learning during the webinar delegates were able to download relevant documents and ask questions live to the speakers through the software.
The E4H team provided a full-service solution which included: the creation of an online registration portal, marketing and communication plan, delegate management and registration reporting. A dedicated production manager facilitated the pre-recorded section of the webinar, carried out technical briefings and training with the speakers so they were confident on the webinar software prior to the event.
Feedback was highly positive, with 100% of delegates answering ‘yes’ to wanting more webinars on podiatry in a survey. An on-demand version edited by E4H is now available on the AHSN website for delegates who were unable to attend the live webinar.

I was very impressed with the team's professionalism, knowledge and help. Having never done this before it was a very positive experience from my perspective and successful with so many registered and engaged. I wouldn't hesitate to use you again.
