E4H was asked to create a solution that would maximise patient access for a new product. The product required a period of titration before optimising the dosage that was required for each patient. During this period, there was a need for constant patient monitoring at one of only seven centres in the UK. This caused considerable stress and inconvenience for patients.
E4H developed a remote monitoring solution, using a tablet-based app and NFC enabled blood pressure monitor. To ensure maximum uptake, E4H developed a patient pack including all materials and guides to ensure patients and clinicians were confident.
Over 300 patients have been managed using the service, using the E4H wrap-around patient and clinic support service. Patients have been able to receive the full benefits of their medication, without unnecessary travel and stress.
